The Weitz Co., Conference Room
This overhead sectional door seen beyond a set of no-frame sliding glass doors is a Raynor Tri-Core. This door is used primarily to separate two conference rooms. It has been coated with a 3M application that turns it into a 12 foot by 8 foot white board. Secondarily it serves as a projection screen for Weitz's overhead projector. When this conference room cannot accommodate enough people, it can be opened electrically to enlarge the conference room.

Another view of the Weitz office conference room door. It was important, during the design process, that the door be as sound resistant as possible. So the Raynor Tri-Core was chosen for it's sound deadening qualities as well as the smooth surface, required for the "white board" requirements.

This photo shows the opposite side of the conference room door. Notice the door opens above the conference room's ceiling to maintain the contractor's design requirements. Their wishes were to preserve an industrial look, thus we used galvanized track. However it was felt that galvanized hinges would break up the field so white powder coated hinges were chosen to match the door sections.
Another Liftmaster jackshaft operator with emergency chain hoist, chosen here for its reliability and technical advancements.
